Auckland Airport Park & Ride

Auckland Airport's official Park & Ride offers secure short-term and long-term parking at Auckland Airport 10 - 15 minutes from the domestic and international terminals. With two convenient locations, Park & Ride South at Puhinui Drive is now open, see the overview map here.

Getting to Park & Ride

Park & Ride North

The entrance is at 42 Verissimo Drive.

Park & Ride South

The entrance is at Puhinui Road opposite Campana Road

Park & Ride bus schedules

Note: The Park & Ride bus will leave from Bus stop C at the domestic terminal and also from Bus stop C in the ground floor of the Transport Hub at the international terminal. Please check you catch the right bus – one is labelled North and the other labelled South. North only goes to Park & Ride North and South only goes to Park & Ride South. If you’re unsure, please ask the driver.

Safety & Security

With security monitoring and a purpose-built customer lounge, Park & Ride is a safe and secure place to park when you are away. In-line with government guidelines all Park & Ride buses are regularly cleaned and sanitised.

Terminal Pick-Up & Drop-Off Point

We have an easy to find and convenient pick-up and drop-off point right outside the domestic terminal. For the international terminal you will find this located at Bus Stop C in the Transport Hub. Please check you catch the right bus – one is labelled North and the other labelled South. North only goes to Park & Ride North and South only goes to Park & Ride South. If you’re unsure, please ask the driver.

The Park & Ride bus is an environmentally and child friendly vehicle, is easy to spot in orange and black, and there is plenty of space for all your luggage.

Ticketless Payment

Park & Ride is a ticketless carpark

Park & Ride North

You will require a credit or debit card to enter this carpark.
Tap or enter your credit card at the entry barrier when entering the car park, then tap or enter your credit card again when you exit - easy!
Payment cannot be accepted with payment apps such as Google Pay or ApplePay.

Park & Ride South

This car park now operates with licence plate recognition (LPR).

Simply drive up to the barrier arm, the LPR camera will validate your licence plate and the barrier arm will automatically open. The same will apply when you go to exit.

Pre-booked online

• Please ensure you arrive in the vehicle that you registered with the online booking.

• If you are driving in a different vehicle from the one registered in your online booking, prior to arriving, go to manage my booking (hyperlink) and change the vehicle licence plate number that you will be using. On the day parking (no pre-booking)

• Before you return to your vehicle to exit the car park, please pay at one of the pay stations located in the car park.

Mobility & Special Assistance

Mobility car parks are provided close to the customer lounge and all our Park & Ride buses ‘kneel’ on request for easier access. However, if you or any person you are travelling with has specific mobility requirements, please contact us at least 5 days in advance so we can ensure that your trip is as comfortable and trouble free as possible.
